Dvořák + Mozart 4-EVR, or Upcoming Performances

My practice time the last couple weeks has been occupied by woodnymphery (Rusalka with North Carolina Opera, which is coming up Sunday 3/30) and the soprano solos from Mozart's Missa brevis in D, which I'll be singing with St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Raleigh on Easter Sunday.

I am happy as a clam. If I have to pick a favorite composer, it's Wolfie¹ hands-down. Second-favorite would be a much harder decision, but Dvořák is comfortably in the running. Thankfully, in my current situation, the choice between simple Mozartean elegance and crunchy Dvořák-ian drama is not one I have to make. 

I'm also dusting off the Polish-American program I've done with my mom several times before , which is really beautiful--Chopin, Gershwin, Kern, and if you come to our performance of it this Thursday in Winston-Salem, a SPECIAL SURPRISE RIDICULOUS ENCORE.
